Whether it’s a shoulder to cry on or endless jokes, our caregivers each bring their unique personality to the community, offering residents a well-rounded human experience. They’re dedicated to learning about each resident and building a trusted relationship to better understand their daily and long-term wants and needs. This practice of personalized care makes it easier to reach the goals our residents set for themselves.

Dana Burnett, RN, has a special knack for building trusted relationships with residents, their families, and employees, helping to establish a family-oriented environment at Encore. She truly understands what it means to provide quality care for our senior residents, while also respecting their independence and dignity.
From personal experience caring for her late mother and her extensive nursing career, Dana is most passionate about ensuring residents do not lose their sense of self-worth and continue to lead a meaningful, fun, and quality lifestyle, and that we as caregivers continue to recognize their talents, abilities, and ideas.
Dana brings nearly a decade of long-term care experience to our Encore community, and is a member of the National Association of Directors of Nursing, a Board-Certified Infection Preventionist, and a Certified Dementia Practitioner.

With over two decades of work experience in healthcare, Jeff McMillan continues to make a positive impact in the lives of our residents. Propelled by a passion for always making sure residents’ needs are top priority, part of Jeff’s daily mission is to provide the necessary information and support to family members as they transition loved ones into long-term care. So, it’s no surprise when families say, “I feel that you actually care about my mom’s needs and making sure she is happy and well-taken care of.”
As a very dedicated and driven admissions coordinator, Jeff will continually seek the right solutions for issues that may occur with the admissions and referral process, and will always go out of his way to make sure residents and their families are satisfied.
